The story of Krishna Sweet Shop began way back in 1908 when Basant Ram Mehta opened its doors in Bhogpur. It quickly became a beloved spot, known for its delicious sweets.

After Basant Ram passed away, his son, Pandit Sadhu Ram Mehta, took over with his eight sons named Bal KishanMehta, Madan Lal Mehta, Raj Mehta, Pawan Dev Mehta, Jai kishan Mehta, Ramesh Mehta, Ravinder Mehta & Satpal Mehta, growing the family business even further. Later, Pandit Sadhu Ram’s eldest son, Bal Kishan Mehta, continued to run the shop, keeping its traditions and cherished recipes alive.

Today, the sweet tradition is carried on by Rakesh Mehta and his son, Rhythm Mehta. While they still make traditional sweets, they’ve also started an exciting new venture: wedding planning and catering. Since 2018, they’ve successfully managed over 100 projects in areas like Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur.
